Clinical Science publishes papers in the field of clinical investigation, defined as the whole range of biochemical, physiological, immunological and other approaches that may have relevance to disease in man. The Journal contains invited reviews, full papers, accelerated publications, invited comments and correspondence.

Full papers are published online as Immediate Publications in PDF format as soon as they are accepted.

The highlight of the current issue is a paper entitled 'Failure to up-regulate VEGF₁₆₅b in maternal plasma is a first trimester predictive marker for pre-eclampsia' by Victorial Bills and colleagues (University of Bristol)
